IWS STRONG Pumping Stations

Compact and durable pumping stations built to your needs

IWS STRONG pumping stations are compact, single-chamber well-type pumping stations with submersible pumps. They are available in diameters ranging from 1000 mm to 3000 mm and are manufactured according to the customer’s needs. They are intended for pumping waste- and stormwater in places where it is impossible or unfeasible to construct gravity-flow piping.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

Pumping of waste- and stormwater in places where it is impossible or unfeasible to construct gravity-flow piping

  1. Compact pumping stations consisting of a collection tank, pumps, their lifting elements, pressure pipes and complete control cabinet.
  2. Two submersible pumps in each pumping station as a rule, so the pumping station remains operational even during maintenance or breakdown of one pump.
  3. Alternate work of pumps, in extreme situations also simultaneous.
  4. Level sensor or float switches for setting the pumping station’s water levels for starting and stopping the pumps.
  5. Option for designing the pumping station’s control cabinet board according to the customer’s needs.
  6. Selection of the pumping station’s internal pressure piping according to the pump’s auto-coupling size.
  7. Installation of a closing device to the pumping station’s inlet pipe gives so that the inflow can be shut off during maintenance works. This can be a knife gate valve inside the pumping station or an outside rubber gate valve.

  1. Type of water to be pumped (wastewater, stormwater, etc.)
  2. Pump parameters – flow rate (Q, l/s) and head (H, mVs)
  3. Pumping station’s internal diameter (ID, mm)
  4. Pumping station’s height from the ground (H1, mm)
  5. Outflow pressure pipe’s height (H3, mm) and diameter (D1, mm)
  6. Inflow pipe’s height (H2, mm) and diameter (D2, mm)
