The modern and silent HST™ turbocompressor features an advanced design with proven magnetic bearing technology and a high-speed motor driven through a built-in frequency converter. HST turbo blowers are widely used in wastewater treatment plants and in low-pressure industrial processes.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  1. The innovative design of the HST turbocompressor combines the high efficiency of the single stage centrifugal blower with the easy flow control of a vsd-driven compressor.
  2. The small-footprint HST has no mechanical wearing parts nor lubricants, thus requiring minimal maintenance. Replacing the standard motor and bulky gearbox of integrally geared compressors with a high-speed motor means there are no foreseen overhauls during the lifetime of the equipment.
  3. As this magnetic bearing-based compressor will levitate the rotor before starting there is no additional wear from repeated starts and stops fitting the needs of today’s aeration systems with diffused air and modern wastewater processes.
  4. The HST compressor package is designed with low noise emissions in mind and silencers are built-in whenever feasible.
  5. Multiple units can work together to maximize energy savings and minimize the carbon footprint. Legacy machines of roots blower, multistage centrifugal or rotary compressor types can operate in parallel without issues.
